Tabitha Brincat
Associate Attorney
Tabitha Brincat is an associate attorney with Fleischer & Associates, joining our Legal Team in February 2010. She graduated from California Western School of law in 2009 with cum laude honors in the top 25% of her class, earning several academic achievement awards during her time there. Prior to that Tabitha received Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Oregon State University in just three years graduating with Cum Laude honors there, as well.
While attending Oregon State University, Tabitha worked as a Writing Assistant at the University Writing Center giving her specific writing skills in drafting legal matters. She participated in accelerated paralegal program at the University of San Diego and worked as a paralegal for a plaintiff civil litigation firm specializing in catastrophic personal injury and elder abuse before attending law school. Tabitha consistently demonstrates a unique ability to quickly assess, learn, and interpret so client may choose from the many options she gives them to solve their legal issue.
Originally, Ms. Brincat intended to practice in plaintiff personal injury, but decided to switch her focus to Family Law after completing an Internship with the Family Law Facilitator's Office of the San Diego Superior Court during law school. Ms. Brincat's focus is to serve the best interests of the children and to ease the transition for them during the uncertainty of divorce. As a child of divorce, she brings that perspective to her cases and draws from her experience in her efforts to create custody and visitation schedules which minimize hostility and create as much consistency as possible for the children.
In her free time, Tabitha enjoys cooking for others, traveling, spending time at the beach, and practicing yoga. She also loves music and attending live concert events. Tabitha loves dogs and misses her chocolate lab, Apollo, who lives in Oregon with her father. She tends to approach life with healthy cynicism and realism, but always with a little optimism for the silver lining.
